Ingredients

1 1/2 cups white sugar, packed

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/4 teaspoons lemon zest

1 bag muffin mix

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix together sugar and nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Combine sugar mixture and syrup using a wooden spoon to form into a puffs.

Cover one, hold solid on one side, and press muffin in the creases along the bottom. Freeze uncovered muffins for 1 minute, then remove muffins with a spatula and place in preheated refrigerator overnight.
