Dishpan Cream Pie III Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1/3 cup white sugar

1 cup cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 (3.5 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 (8 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 inch pie pan.

Beat eggs and milk in small bowl until well blended. Add sugar, cream and vanilla and beat until blended. Add almond extract, evaporated milk and cherry pie filling.

Drop 1 tablespoon of filling from pastry sheet onto hot griddle or frying pan. Fry over medium heat until golden (do not brown). Fry 2 minutes, flipping once, or until bubbles remain. Fry 2 minutes, or until filling is set. Serve hot.
