Crabbies Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 large onion, chopped

3 large carrots, sliced

2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

2 white potatoes, peeled and sliced

4 slices white bread

1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry onion, carrots, and potatoes for 5 minutes, or until tender, and translucent.

Pour the vegetable oil into a large mixing bowl, and mix together. In a medium bowl, combine the carrot, onion, potatoes, bread, cheese, onion, celery, Swiss cheese, green onions, celery, and Swiss cheese. Mix together well.

To serve: Divide the bread into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 6 inch square.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place pieces of Parmesan cheese on one of each piece of bread. Lay pieces flat in small areas, forming a sandwich.

Form sandwich in a large bowl. Drizzle about 1/4 cup of oil onto each piece of bread, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup of the Cheddar cheese.

Spread half of the onion rings onto the bread, and spread half of its interior into the bottom of the sandwich. Layer half of the carrot slices with the vegetables, then spread with the cheese. Layer the remaining half of the bread with the Cheddar cheese, then top with celery slices and pepper jack garlic cloves. Layer with a layer of bread with onion rings. Discard remaining bread with onion rings.
