4 1/2 cups white sugar
3 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon honey
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon amish honey
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup juice from amish berries
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, beat sugar, butter, milk, honey, garlic, salt, amish honey, vinegar, Amish berries and lemon juice in small bowl. Stir all 3 into the sugar mixture. Fold lemon mixture into sugar mixture and spread evenly over bottom of casserole.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake an additional 20 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and bubbly. Cool completely.
