Baked Ham Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

4 slices bacon

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dry onion flakes

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl combine eggs, salt and garlic powder.

Rub the strips of bacon into the egg mixture, then spoon mayonnaise over the strips. Place them in a skillet or fry in oil. Fry the strips on both sides until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, brown sugar and baking powder. Stir into the egg mixture, then spread out to cover. Fold in the bacon.

Spread the ham strips on top of the egg mixture. Roll the foil around the ham strips and wrap it in a long spiral around the entire base of the foil. Place the chilled egg mixture in the freezer until needed.

Cut a hole in the center of each foil bowl and make holes in the front of each. Place one foil bowl on top of the baking sheet. Fry the foil at high heat for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the ham is evenly browned.

Remove the ham from the freezer. Place the pan in an ovenproof medium bowl, and pour about 1/4 cup of the egg mixture into the pan. Brush with mayonnaise drizzle over the tops of foil bowls. Garnish with bacon grease.
