Days of Thunder Thanksgiving Recipe

Ingredients

3 pounds smoked salmon, cut into 1/2 inch cubes

1 (3 ounce) package instant chopped onion soup mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant tomato sauce

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried basil

2 teaspoons dried oregano

2 teaspoons ground black pepper

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

2 teaspoons dried sage

Directions

Saute the salmon and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until golden, stirring frequently. Mix in the soup mix, tomato sauce, brown sugar and garlic. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, add the basil, oregano and ground black pepper. Cook and stir about 5 minutes more.

After 10 minutes, stir in the sliced carrots, almonds, salt pork and butter. Continue to stir about 5 minutes more.
