1 cup water
1 (15 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
2 tablespoons rum syrup
1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple in syrup, drained
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups green popcorn (e.g. Dora's), chopped
In a large saucepan, bring water, peaches and rum syrup to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Stir in pineapple and pudding mix. Bring to a full boil, stirring occasionally, and continue until thickened. Remove from heat and remove from pan. Stir in popcorn and brown sugar. Serve over crackers or crumble into small pieces.
