1 (10 ounce) package figs
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, diced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a plastic bag or line with foil.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add figs and cook for about 5 minutes; drain.
Stir in sour cream, cheese and cream cheese. Pour into large plastic bag. Stir in salt and pepper.
Pour mixture into greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Dust with 3/4 cup cheddar cheese and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bubbly and golden. Cool slightly before cutting into 4 squares.
