Stuffed Green Tomatoes II Recipe

Ingredients

6 green tomatoes, seeded and sliced

3/4 cup butter, melted

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups frozen chopped spinach, thawed

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1 3/4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Place tomatoes in a large saucepan with 1/2 of their liquid still in them; cover and simmer over medium heat until tender, about 4 minutes. Drain tomatoes from liquid and place them in a blender or food processor; pulse until tomato juice is divided.

In a small mixing bowl, combine butter, 3 cups flour, sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, 1/2 cup spinach, tomato paste, bread crumbs, garlic powder, rosemary and salt. Mix all together well and spread mixture
