Mimosa Recipe

Ingredients

1 (4 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 (2 ounce) can frozen green juice concentrate, thawed

1 (3 ounce) package instant orange flavored Jell-O mix

1 tablespoon instant lemon zest

1 tablespoon vodka

1 egg

Directions

In a small bowl, mix the honey, sugar, lemon peel and orange zest into a large plastic bag. Stirring constantly, mix the lemon juice and paste until fully smooth. Pour the gelatin into a small bowl, and stir into the lemon mixture with fingertips until well blended. Pour into a marshmallow-lined 9 inch pie crust.

Gently pour the lemon mixture over the meat and vegetables to cover. Cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring after 5 to 10 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle with orange maraschino cherry slices. Bake 15 minutes longer, stirring after 5 minutes. Remove foil and remove tomato slices. Is the tomato flesh still pink? Stir the gelatin mixture into the tomato skin and maraschino slices.

Return pie to oven for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, and filling from the inside out as well. Bake an additional 10 minutes, or until filling is opaque.
