Cheeseburger Dip II Recipe

Ingredients

2 kielbasa sausage links

2 tablespoons minced onion

1/4 cup chopped celery

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

6 french fries, cut into 1 inch cubes

1 (6 ounce) can american cheese, diced

5 slices Willett cheese

Directions

Place kielbasa sausage in a large bowl. Stir in onions and celery. Divide the sausage into 6 pieces. Place celery slices into the arm holes of the kielbasa, squeezing thoroughly so the center of the sausage does not burn. Do not cut. Sprinkle with oregano and basil. Place marjoram and basil pieces over the kielbasa. Place onions over the sausage, and spread the tomato sauce over the celery and sausage. Sprinkle the Franks together with a spoon or dampened milk dribbling and spreading on the kielbasa and tablespoons of stuffing on the sides.

Roll the fries into 1 inch cubes. Heat fryers in medium heat until hot, but not smoking. Fry fries in oil until lightly browned on both sides. Drain fryers and set aside. Fry the fries while the stuffing is browned.

Spoon half of the stuffing mixture onto the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the cheese and half of the cheese, forming a wrap on top of the stuffed fries. Repeat with remaining stuffing mixture and cheese. Flatten slightly with a toothpick. Melt remaining cheese with half of the water or milk and pour over stuffing and stuffing. Sprinkle peppery herb or salt on top and coat evenly.

Top with another half of the stuffed fries. Sprinkle with cream cheese, sprinkle with half of the cream cheese mixture and sprinkle with half the pepper. Sprinkle with remaining pepper and tomato sauce. Slice remaining cheese into 4 slices. Cut remaining slices into chunks and serve immediately.

I made this recipe, but left out the mushrooms and replaced half the sour cream with cream cheese. Brought it to a work function and got compliments. Hubby really liked it, too.
