2 (3 ounce) packages (1 leg), firm taco-style dough
1 (5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 (4.5 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 degrees C), grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Break up dough and cut into 1 inch squares. Place cubes in the baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven.
Spoon mushrooms over pie. Pour egg over pie, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle with heavy whipping cream.
Bake in preheated oven until pastry is golden, several minutes.
