1 (18 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 (6 ounce) can sliced fresh strawberries
1 pint strawberry green sherbet
1 pint strawberry jam
Bake chunks of pie filling in preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove pie from oven and pour into pie pan. Cover and allow to cool.
Meanwhile, stir butter and sugar in heavy saucepan in microwave/over low power for 5-6 minutes, stirring continuously until sugar is completely dissolved. Mix in strawberries and strawberries. Beat in whipped cream, pineapple juice, strawberries, lemon juice and cranberry juice.
In small bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and drained strawberries until soft peaks form. Mix in lemon juice and cranberry juice. Spoon cream mixture into crust. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.
I omitted the cheese and instead filled the rim with beer. It was still good but nothing I would make for my family on their first night.
