Pecan Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the vanilla and flour. Stir in the brown sugar. Combine the remaining flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until well blended. Drop cookies by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly toasted. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
