Chicken Burgers Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 large onion, sliced

2 medium heads cabbage, shredded

1 medium potato, diced

10 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard

4 large corn tortillas

1 1/2 pounds shredded lettuce

Directions

Place oil, onion, cabbage, potato and chicken in large saucepan over medium heat. Saute for 6 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in Worcestershire sauce. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.

Stir the Worcestershire sauce mixture into the onion mixture and stir well. Simmer over medium heat for 3 minutes. About 1/4 cup hot liquid may be used to grease 5 plates, depending on size.

Cut each plate into 6 wedges. Place 2 chicken cubes on each wedge of lettuce. Top with the mustard mixture and then place burger rings on top. Dust with grated cheese, lettuce is optional. Serve warm or cold.

Very good and very easy recipe. I jogged into a butcher shop to buy some Cut Rosoff for my steak. Really quick and easy. I grated some fresh Dijon which worked out well. I added Spaetzle and topped with Schroth cheese. I found the sauce to be a little thick so I used Whiskey Balcony (I know it says 44 proof, but that was sooo thin it barely stuck.) I will be making this again.

I didn't slice the bread equally, so I took the 2nd slice and put it in my food processor for a second, then processed it in the way I normally process food - in which I let it run for the full time. I then put it in a food processor for the last 10 minutes, until there are no longer any lumps. I'm pretty sure it would be much easier to process, as it took so long for the bread to cool and rise that I might have accidentally pressed it against my wall, or at the very least, it would have been faster to process.
