Dessert Pie VI Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked

4 large strawberries

1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

1 cup sliced almonds

1 cup chopped Swiss celery

1 cup chopped peaches

1 cup chopped walnuts

2 cups white sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 egg

1 cup butter

1 pound semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1 cup coffee liqueur

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch pie pan.

Place strawberries in the prepared pan. In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, almonds, peaches, walnuts, sugar, lemon juice and egg. Mix well and pour into pie shell.

In a medium bowl, combine butter, white sugar, lemon juice and egg. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes or until mixture is light and well blended. Beat in butter, confectioners' sugar, coffee liqueur and vanilla extract. Pour mixture into pie shell.

Bake in preheated oven for 90 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
