2 cups butter, softened
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 cup finely chopped almonds
2 eggs, beaten
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped green onions
2 cups cornflakes cereal
1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven broiler.
In a medium bowl, mix the butter, chocolate, almonds and eggs. Stir the mixture into the skillet of an oven broiler pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, turning once. Place the casserole in a nonstick pan. Place a layer of cornflakes over the casserole, and the large butter mixture over the remaining mixture. Brush tops with milk. Sprinkle with vanilla extract.
