1 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Mix together egg, white sugar, and vanilla. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture until just blended. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of each loaf comes out clean.
