1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8 ounce) can sliced ripe olives
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, diced
1 medium bell pepper, diced
1 pound Swiss cheese, sliced
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Transfer mixture to a large bowl. Mix in the olives, butter, oil and onion. Pour mixture into the prepared pie dish. Spread the sliced slice of cheese on top of the cream cheese mixture. Roll the slices around to form a sandwich.
Top with the sliced mozzarella cheese and return pan to heat. Cook over medium heat until cheese is melted. Serve hot or cold.
