1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup canned sliced applesauce
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 cups bread flour
In a large bowl, dissolve bread flour in water and yeast or in your favorite wet food processor. Cover and let stand overnight.
The next morning, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a cookie sheet or 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, dissolve sugar, oil, applesauce, cinnamon and eggs using a wooden spoon until combined. Stir flour into the sugar mixture until well blended. Drop into the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 8 in. of baking time in the preheated oven, until bubbles round and brown lightly on top. Remove from the baking sheet to cool. Chill thoroughly before removing from pan.
