1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1/2 cup butter
1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) can artichoke hearts
1 cup chopped green onion
Place hash browns in a large bowl and microwave them overnight according to directions on package.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Place the cream cheese in the center of the prepared pan and stir until the cream cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Sprinkle the hash browns with the artichoke hearts. Drizzle sour cream over the cream cheese and hash browns. Sprinkle with chopped green onions. Place the parsley, oregano, salt and pepper over all. Serve hot or cold.
We used SeaOrIce,kettle potatoes, bouillon, dried oregano, crumbled feta, crushed dry basil, teff and wondered if maybe spinach instead. The 31 are enough for a bigger sandwich, I didn't feel good about not including the garlic & onion, tho. :o) Still when youre not holding back and adding salt & pepper you can add the 1 cup Raider blue cheese chips that make this my favorite dip. Tastes great too!!
