Swiss Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients

1 (4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese and butter flavored Jell-O mix

1 1/2 cups milk

1 cup water

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix pudding mix and cream cheese gelatin. Pour into a 2 quart heavy saucepan, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Place over low heat. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring often, and boil for 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and gelatin, whip until stiff. Pour over cream cheese and butter mixture and chill in refrigerator. Chill overnight before serving.

In a medium saucepan, remove the water from the pudding mixture to a small bowl. Spread cream cheese mixture over pudding mixture, stirring occasionally. Dip each slice of sliced cheese into pudding mixture, then place on top of cream cheese sandwich slices, making sure to keep cream cheese in the center of each slice. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
