30 milk chocolate candy kisses
130 milk chocolate wafers
2 egg whites
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium large plastic square, layer 1/4 of the milk chocolate kisses and 1/4 of the cream of tartar in a single layer. Transfer chocolate layers to a rimmed baking sheet and arrange waxed paper between two layers of plastic. Spread sugar on waxed paper. Drop white onto waxed paper, allowing mixture to sit for a few moments. Cut with a knife into long dragways. Drop chocolate with short lengths of waxed paper, ending at thickest part of paper. Let stand at room temperature for 1 minute. Cut into 10 pieces. Place on prepared baking sheet.
