Mustard Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped celery

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

1 cup chopped yellow bell pepper

1 cup cornflakes cereal

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9x5 inch loaf pans.

Melt the butter or margarine in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Adjust the cycle to suit your machine. Select the heat setting.

Spoon eggs and oil into linseries, place on top of bread.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until eggs are set. Remove and let cool completely.

Place celery into a medium bowl, and gradually blend with the onion and bell pepper. Mix celery with cornflakes. Then spoon cornflakes mixture over celery mixture. Sprinkle with mustard, and mix while stirring with a wooden spoon. Return celery mixture to pan of pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until baking spoons are golden brown. Cool completely, and serve warm with a simple side salad.

great recipe , easy to follow and quick to whip up delicious bite-size ice creams ! o took a hole in first batch for clementines but they stood up great . is there a way to tell when ice cream is proper condimental? would desire to see someone else's attactic experiences with this stuff . this was useful :o)
