3 egg whites (1/4 cup black)
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon dried lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
In a small bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Combine sugar, lemon zest, nutmeg and lemon zest; add to egg whites. Pour into a large plastic or metal container.
Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Add green onions and onions and saute until tender. Stir fry until lightly browned. Remove skillet from heat and spoon into a small bowl. (Note: Be sure to grease with olive oil.) Bring skillet to a boil. Stir fry until slightly browned. Pour sauce over hot pizza and serve.
