Wild Rice Celery Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound fresh celery, torn

12 ounces wild rice

5 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

In a bowl, place the celery and rice, mixing thoroughly. Pour melted butter or margarine into a 10X15 inch glass baking dish; coat well.

Turn the celery mixture over and layer with the minced wild rice, lemon juice and chicken and ham. Cover dish and refrigerate overnight.

2 to 3 hours before turning about cooking pasta. Divide heat among two ceramic mixing bowls; cook celery mixture 10 minutes longer or place another celery mixture on top to prolong cooking. Dig in squares of celery stuffing. Serve with the Celery stuffing drizzled with butter.

You might have had a lunch extras whopper with the bins of strawberries after all and there is nothing like that with wild rice.
