Italian Turkey Baked Carrots Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup vegetable oil

1 large onion, diced

1 medium head cabbage, chopped

8 ounces dry Italian-style processed cheese or pasta

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/4 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/8 teaspoon salt

4 boneless turkey breast halves

2 cup Italian sausage

2 cups shredded Italian cheese

Directions

Layer the cabbage and oil in a large pot with little room for the turkey. Bring the sausage and cheese in over the cabbage! Cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes.

While the turkey is cooking, heat the 4 cups of water in a large skillet. Remove the turkey, discarding shredded cabbage. Reserve 1/2 cup of the gravy and replace the turkey with another 1 cup of water. Heat to boiling and serve.

So instead I just made these in paper clip routes and left it in the fridge until I was ready to make them in the morning. These turned out very nicely. Thank you for sharing
