1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1/8 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 pounds salami, sliced
1 handful white sugar
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add butter; stir to coat. Remove from heat. Stir egg in brown sugar until thoroughly coated. Pour in onion, oregano, basil, sausage, onion, sugar and lemon zest. Bring mixture to a boil. Stir in potatoes and cook for 2 minutes. Heat through.
