1/2 cup butter
1 pound salmon steaks
1 1/2 ounces Italian-style diced onion
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
2 tablespoons vinegar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Transfer steaks to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Dredge each steak in the butter mixture to its left side. Fold steaks side up, and spoon remaining butter mixture over steaks. Drizzle over cheese dish with water.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove steaks from baking dish, and place on a baking sheet. Brush with butter mixture, continuing to do so.
Bake steaks 5 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
