1 (21 ounce) can mandarin oranges, frozen
1 (20 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O mix
1 3/4 fluid ounces cream of tartar
3 cubes ice
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together sugar, lemon juice, gelatin, cream of tartar and ice. Spread lemon juice mix evenly onto gelatin mixture and pour mixture into tumblers. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until ice is solid.
Melt candy-coated lemon jell-o (Crimson Candy) and jelly candies, placing in separate tumblers.
