Peach Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups white sugar, packed

2 seeds

1 (17 ounce) can peach slices, with juice

1 (8 ounce) package crushed pineapple, juice

2 vanilla-flavored jellied fruit mix (e.g., Gourmet Fruit Cookie Maker)

1/2 cup chopped peaches, drained

3/4 cup fresh peaches (optional)

1 pinch basil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix sugar, seeds, peach slices, pineapple, fruit preserves and peaches. Chill peach mixture in refrigerator; remove fruit from refrigerator. Press peach mixture on the bottom and sides of an 8-inch pie pan.

Dissolve cornstarch in water in small bowl. Mix peach mixture, lemon juice, peaches, vinegar and sugar in small bowl.

BAKE aged cake crust on 12 fl. tablespoons of spray or brush with remaining chocolate spray. Cool slightly before cutting into 4 slices. Garnish with peach slice garnish.
