1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon xanthan gum
3 1/2 cups white rice
1 1/2 cups low-fat milk
1 1/2 cups water
In a large bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, xanthan gum and proper dry cooking and seasoning measures; while mixing, sift into rice the 1/2 cup of black beans
Add 2 cups rice and milk to bowl; add this and remaining liquid to blend well; add enough to make large chunks.
Place covered saucepan (sometime passed) in greased 12x3 inch cooking dish; pour over rice mixture. Repeat with remaining ingredients; serve.
