1/2 cup mustard mustard
1 tablespoon shallots
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon parsley pepper
1/2 cup packed green olives
2 tablespoons dried maraschino cherries
2 tablespoons dried sage
12 bacon strips
2 tablespoons shallots
2 tablespoons lemon juice
6 cups water
1 (8 ounce) can low-fat mayonnaise
In a large bowl, mix mustard, shallots, dry mustard, parsley pepper, green olives, maraschino cherries, sage, bacon, and mustard mixture. Transfer to a separate large bowl. Serve as a sandwich.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and mustard. Pour over sandwiches and serve immediately.
