Cherry Rum Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package finely chopped chocolate almonds

1 cup water

1 (6 ounce) can cherry-flavored carbonated beverage (such as Coca Cola, Russian River, or Tropic Water)

1/4 cup white sugar

1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups full-fat milk chocolate syrup

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine chocolate almonds, water, cherry soda, and half recipe pudding mix. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Using a candy thermometer, record candy thermometer reading just before stirring in pudding mixture.

Stir in chocolate syrup. Pour mixture back into heat and stir in chocolate syrup. Serve warm or cold.

Excellent and fast recipe. I followed the recipe exactly putting the avocados and black olives in the fridge while I made the bread. I took about 1/2 cup of the egg and replaced the yolks with yolks. I wanted to make a thicker Vinaigrette but was afraid to put the egg in the fridge as it could become airy. I was able to cover the bowl and lid with foil but not the middle so it was really good. The hardest part was getting all the pecans out of the fridge as they can be a pain in the neck. I finally managed it with the help of a hubby who was VERY impressed. I will definately make this again!

Good texture and great taste. I used the bread pudding recipe on line to make my pudding. 3 people and it was very easy.

I added fresh garlic crescent rolls, adultEgg rolls, and fresh cilantro leaves. We loved these, and they are great if you're not a fan of the cookie crust. They are so easy to make and they are loved by all. Since I used one package of cookie ingredients, I decided to use Oreos as my preferred flavor. These were a huge hit, and even more so if I used Oreos dipped in whiskey hot chocolate. These are definitely not glazed, but rather crisp and ready for action. Although clearly labeled as such, these are really healthy dipping ingredients and should not be missed.
