8 ounces Camembert cheese
1/4 cup cold water
1 tablespoon Italian-style seasoning
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
1/4 cup margarine, melted
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1 (16 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, diced
1 (1 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
salt and pepper to taste
Rinse the Camembert cheese in cold water. Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Beautiful piece of Italian cheese! Serve over pasta, or pasta and vegetables. If you like your cheese creamy, warm cheese in microwave on high for about 5 minutes, stirring it every time.
Heat margarine over low heat in a large bowl. Add water, cream cheese, instant vanilla pudding, salt and pepper. Beat until smooth. Pour over pasta, vegetables and Camembert cheese.
