1 onion, chopped
1 large orange, peeled and sliced
1 cup water
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons prepared instant rice mix
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (10 ounce) package chicken or vegetable steamerware
Place onion, orange, water, margarine, flour and rice in a large skillet. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until rice is completely cooked. Stir in salt, garlic powder and oregano. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook for 2 minutes or until rice is almost cooked through.
Stir chicken or vegetable steamerware into the pot and pour in water and salt. Boil for 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve with marinade and rice mixture and marinade.
