1 cup water
3 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (3.5 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
4 liters fluid
3 liters orange juice
2 fluid ounces raspberry flavored Gatorade
1/2 fluid ounce apple rum
In a large heavy saucepan over low heat, combine water, sugar and vanilla extract. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Heat to 150 degrees F (80 degrees C).
In a shallow, nonporous dish, combine orange juice, orange juice concentrate, raspberry Gatorade and 1/2 scoop of ice. Stir around until desired consistency is reached. Pour in vodka. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low, boil for 2 minutes. Stir in apple rum. Spoon into serving glasses and serve immediately.

So nice to find a syrupy fruit punch of a drink on this site. Love the simplicity of it all!
I've made wineries sweet onion cold wines and upped the sugar slightly but this was still pretty easy, and very tasty. In the future I'd like to make lighter orangish varieties with less fat and fewer calories--probably halving the 4 oz. weight.
