1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 tablespoons sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon orange juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9 inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a small mixing bowl, mix oil, mushrooms, garlic and onion flakes.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add soy sauce and vinegar and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add water and orange juice to skillet and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Return skillet to a high heat and add about 1 cup water, stirring frequently. Continue to stir over medium heat until rice is just cooked through.
