4 tomatoes, chopped
3 tablespoons white sugar
4 cloves crushed garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 (16 ounce) bottle marinated artichoke hearts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Slice tomatoes and place in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place cooked garlic and cilantro in a shallow mixture. Place tomato and lemon halves in a medium bowl.
In order to get strong marinade from the tomato and citrus, we add water and reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). It takes about 3 hours.
