4 tablespoons butter
1 cup white sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and oil until smooth. Beat in the flour, measuring between 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the whipping cream, mixing just until incorporated. Spread evenly into well greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50-60 minutes. Let cool completely.
To make the Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar together in a small bowl. Beat 3 tablespoons cream cheese and vanilla together in a small bowl. Beat cream cheese and whipped cream together on medium speed of an electric mixer by hand, until mixture is light colored (diffuse). Beat until stiff. Serve immediately, or chill in refrigerator and use for souffle tops.
