1/2 cup butter
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
Combine butter and vanilla pudding mix in small bowl; beat until light and fluffy.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Spoon 1/2 of mixture into a 9 inch square serving dish. Layer pudding layer with remaining 1/2 teaspoon vanilla pudding mix. Layer pudding layer with remaining 1/2 teaspoon vanilla pudding mix. Drizzle top of pumpkin with chocolate frosting.
Arrange remaining pie layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for at least 1 hour. Chill pie for 30 minutes before serving. Chill for 2 hours before serving.
