1 cross section apple, peeled and cored
2 potatoes, peeled and halved
1 pint French-fried onions, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon molasses
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
In a large pot, combine apples, potatoes, French-fried onions, garlic, molasses, salt, pepper, vinegar and pepper. Remove from heat and cover simmer until apples are tender, about 1/2 hour. Serve
I made this for Easter, and it was very popular. Love that it's on baking powder rolls!
I really liked this cookie. Even my husband loved them! He asked for more cookies and I'm sure we'll have them again sometime soon.
