2 (9 inch) pie shells
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pound cream cheese
1 egg
1 (2 ounce) can evaporated milk
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/8 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 8 inch deep dish pie pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, baking powder and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in cream cheese. Beat in egg, then stir in the cream cheese mixture and pecans. Beat in sugar, milk, evaporated milk, white sugar and milk. Mix thoroughly. Fold in pecans, almonds and salt. Pour into pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
