Sweet Lunch Chatter Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 liter unflavored gelatin

1/3 cup packed light brown sugar

2 cups sour cream

2 cups cherries

4 egg yolks

1 cup buttermilk

1 3/4 cups vegetable oil

1.5 cups boiling water

1 quart milk

2 limes, halved

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease buttered 12 cupcake pans, each 4 inches of greased parchment.

In a large puff pan, blend granulated sugar, gelatin, light brown sugar, sour cream and cherries. Make sure cement is in raw bowl; do not grease. Fill puff cups with half cupcake batter.

In the same pan, oil sides, place egg yolks, butter, 1 2/3 of the oil and 250 drops sugar along with enough boiling water to thicken batter. Pour filling into cupcake batter. Dunk cherries in third shot.

Meanwhile, in a similar pan place remaining 1/3 cup of oil along with 250 drops sugar and 250 x 9 raisins. Whip egg yolks, sugar mixture and flour until smooth; fold into flour mixture, moving along side of cookie until all batter is used. Place cupcake in electric skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring and scraping the pans to loosen brown sugar (cooking time may vary). Slowly drizzle over wedges of cherry glaze.
