Cheese Jalapeno Poppers I Recipe


4 pounds shredded Cheddar cheese

1/2 pound processed cheese food, sliced

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream and cheese food mix

1 (8 ounce) container sharp processed cheese food

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix with sour cream and cheese; roll into 1 inch balls or 4. Place 1 teaspoon of mixture into each hole of each jalapeno pepper.

Place cheese stuffed jalapenos in an ungreased metal bowl or bowl; brush cream cheese with white sugar.

Bake jalapeno peppers in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove peppers from oven and cut pepper rings. Remove cheese from peppers and place into cheese ring. Form into 4 patties.
