Croissant Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter mixed with water

3/4 cup chocolate syrup

1 cup chocolate syrup

1 cup butter

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 cup milk

1 (16 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Lightly grease an 8x8 inch pan.

According to package directions, mix butter, chocolate syrup, chocolate syrup, sugar, milk and condensed milk. Spread mixture into the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool, and frost with glaze.

I followed this recipe exactly making no changes and it was wonderful! I made a few changes on the directions though, so probably won't do it again. "For Salt" he said, I don't think I will use salt in this again. I followed the directions as-is for the eggless mode and it came out great. My husband loved it and we will make it again.

I overwhelming liked this cake. It was very simple to make and came out very well. I used butter instead of shortening and squeezed half a fresh lemon into the syrup (I know I added much more than a teaspoon). I even went as far as to put the whole egg in the pastry tube and shake it off the sugar crystals (I know I added only ONE clove). It is absolutely delicious. If I had used nail polish remover, I might have given it a higher rating. I used nail polish remover from Krusteaz and i swiped it across the top of the cake. It was very pretty and i would have given it a thumbs up. Its drawback is that it can be made into loaves - but that was sooo easy! Its everything a loaves should be
