1/16 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
2 eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons corn starch package
1 cup cornflakes cereal
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x9 inch pan.
In a large bowl, mix the butter, sugar, cornstarch, eggs, brown sugar, salt, vanilla and milk. Set aside.
Sift together the brown sugar, cornflakes and whole wheat flour, set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, cornflakes and cornstarch until smooth. Stir in the cornflakes gradually, mixing often.
Roll 1/2 cup batter into a 9x13 inch rectangle. Dip the rectangle in butter mixture, securing edges with tweezers. Place onto the prepared baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool completely.
