1 cup white sugar
1 cup white wine
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 (6 ounce) can whole, peeled and diced tomatoes
4 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
3 tablespoons salt
1 onion, finely chopped
14 whole pea pods
3 tablespoons leek milk
1 tablespoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
In a large bowl combine sugar, wine, mustard and tomato and garlic; mix in salt, onion, pea pods, leek milk, vinegar, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in wine, 4 cloves of, and cover. Chill for 30 more minutes.
