2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cream cheese
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1/3 cup water
1 egg
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons lemon extract
In a large bowl, combine the milk, cream cheese, sugar, water and egg. Mix until blended.
Heat a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the vinegar and vanilla, and mix until well blended. Stir in lemon extract. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly.
Cover saucepan and place in cold water to reduce heat. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Cook and stir the pie for 1 minute, and then transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with green apples, or use fresh apple slices.
