4 stalks celery, sliced
2 zucchini, sliced
1 medium onion, cut into 2 wedges
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 2 wedges
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 2 wedges
3 tablespoons butter
1 (10 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 cup bread crumbs
Sesame seeds to taste
In a large bowl, toss celery and zucchini. With your hands or in a wide wooden spoon, squeeze the juice from the zucchini to the celery. Pour zucchini mixture into a shallow dish or bowl. Pour in the onion. Pour the mushroom juice. Stir in the celery and tomato. Pour mixture over celery and vegetable mixture.
In a large bowl, toss together the butter, pineapple, broccoli florets, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Microwave on medium heat until melted and granulated. Pour over salad and vegetables.
